Sketches

Im Rahmen meines neuen Projektes “Adjectives”, bei welchem ich Adjektive auf verschiedenste Art und Weise darstellen werde, entstehen momentan die ersten Ideen und Skizzen. In diesem Falle ist es das Wort “Extreme”, bei welchem ich versucht habe nicht an Elementen zu sparen. Die starke Flucht der Buchstaben soll zudem die Metapher verstärken. Von oben nach unten seht ihr die 3 Hauptphasen beim Erstellen dieses Sketches: unten das vorgezogene Wort, in der Mitte das gefüllte Wort und ganz oben alles entsprechend mit Hintergrund angereichert.

In the context of my new project “Adjectives” the  first ideas and sketches grew out. This project is about mapping the meaning of an adjective to its look. The vanishing point of the letters is meant to intensify the metaphor. From top to bottom you can see the three different phases of this sketch: at the bottom the first-lines, in the middle the filled word and on top the finished sketch.
