Diese Auftragsarbeit wurde in den Jahren 2004 und 2005 von B.ash, Turok und Jety (ehemals Tiefsilo Mitglied) in Magdeburg angefertigt.
Die Wand ist insgesamt 80m lang und 4,25m hoch.
Die Collage ist ebenfalls sehr, sehr lang.

Landshut Graffiti Meeting
“Das erste Graffiti-Meeting in Landshut findet am 10. und 11. Oktober statt. In das ehemalige Fröschlgebäude an der Ludmillastraße 15 kommen zwölf namhafte Graffiti-Künstler aus ganz Deutschland, um dort neue Werke der Graffiti-Kunst zu gestalten. Mit dabei: Musik, Film, Tanz und ein Workshop, bei dem sich Kinder, Jugendliche und Erwachsene selbst als Sprayer versuchen können. …”

Paris – Né dans la rue
Zur selben Zeit als der Thalys Zug im Gard du Nord in Paris bemalt wurde, befand ich mich auf dem Weg in die Gallerie “Fondation Cartier”, um die Ausstellung “Né dans la rue” zu besichtigen.
Dabei hatte ich nicht nur die Möglichkeit Arbeiten von Part One, Seen, Jon One, Quik, Vitche etc. zu sehen, sondern, wie es der Zufall manchmal will, traf ich auch den “Godfather of Graffiti” Seen. Grund für seine unverhoffte Anwesenheit war der Besuch seiner Eltern, welche die Ausstellung ebenfalls sehen wollten.
Seen lebt seit ca. 2 Jahren in Paris und hat auch vor noch eine Weile dort zu bleiben. Wie er mir erzählte, sieht er Paris als passenden Ort dafür an, um vom New-York-Stress runterzukommen, um mehr Kunst als klassisches Graffiti zu machen.
Die Ausstellung bot neben den teilweise riesigen Arbeiten auch eine Dokumentation aus Sao Paulo über die Pixação von Joao Weiner und Roberto Oliveira (mehr dazu auf ilovegraffiti.de) und einen kleinen Souvenir-Shop, wo ich mir das Malheft “Coloring & Activity Book” mit Zeichnungen von Seen zugelegt habe.

At the same time when the Thalys-train was painted at Gard du Nord in Paris, i was on my way to the gallery “Fondation Cartier” to visit the exhibition “Né dans la rue”. Beside visiting the artwork of Part One, Seen, Jon One, Quik, Vitche etc. i had the chance to meet the “Godfather of Graffiti” Seen. His parents were visting him in Paris and Seen was showing them the exhibition.
Since 2 years Seen is living in Paris. In his eyes Paris is a good location to calm down from all that stress in New York and to do more artwork than the classical graffiti.
Apart from the great artworks of the artists the exihibition offered to watch a documentation from Sao Paulo about “Pixação” made by Joao Weiner und Roberto Oliveira (more about that on ilovegraffiti.de). In the little museum shop i spend some money and bought the painting book ““Coloring & Activity Book” with drawings from Seen.
