Me, myself and I – Sketch – 2011

One week ago I took part in an art-battle in Stuttgart called “De Kunstschlacht”. This event was organized by Peter Kosock and took three rounds. The topic for each round was decided by the audience. In the first round we had to illustrate the word “Anus”, in the second round we had to draw an animal with the head of a meerkat, the neck of a boar, the back of a cat, the stomach of a crapper fly, the forelegs of a female rabbit and the hind legs of a sloth. And in the last round we transformed a beautiful lady on a poster into a zombi. In the end the audience picked the winner by putting cups in front their favorite artist and the local hero “Rast” from Stuttgart, who was my opponent in this competition, did it by a narrow margin of the couple of cups. Altogether it was a really nice evening and we had lots of fun! I´m really looking forward for the next event in november.
More info about “De Kunstschlacht” you will find here.

For a change this weekend Junek and I did a little experiment. I painted a Junek and Junek painted a B.ash.
The interesting thing was to see how Junek interpreted my letters in a different new way.

Yesterday the Cannstatt Hall Of Fame in Stuttgart was re-opened in the context of a “Just Writing My Name” event.
The weather was nice, a lot of writers and visitors joined the event and the atmosphere was good.
Therefore here are some pics of my wall with Junek and some impressions of the event.

In the context of a little nice canvas exchange project with Kid Crow from Nuremberg we painted a little nice wall together at Cannstatt hall of fame in Stuttgart this weekend. Thanks to Kid Crow! More about him you can find here.
